“Sumeeti Mittal is a civil engineer by profession, an entrepreneur by choice and an artist by passion.”
We originate from nothing and that is what we finally go back to. This is the essence of Srimad Bhagavad Gita and the very essence of life. I strongly believe in the transient nature of life and that has, in a way, shaped my personality.
God uses a palette full of colors to paint a single sunrise AND you can never experience the same sunrise twice. Is there anything that can better define beauty and the transient nature of life? Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it. And those who can, are considered lucky.
What began as a hobby evolved into a passion. I wanted to give colors to my jungle of thoughts. From nature to people; from the sound of om to the ripples in the ocean everything has the ability to inspire. The inspiration along with the constant guidance of my mentor, Sir Aloke Chakroborty (SantiNiketan) , has given way to this series Facets of life. I have used acrylic as the medium for my paintings and have played with colors and textures.
If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet. I strongly believe in growth and evolution of a person with experience and time. With this series, I have given colors to various aspects of my thoughts. Hard work, perseverance and a plethora of emotions have helped the evolution of this series and me as a person.
